Looking for a way to bother your brother, get a shriek from your sister or just indulge your inner-wizard? Well, Dr. Filibuster’s Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks are just the firework needed to prank any unsuspecting victim. Of course, the firework is completely fictional (unlike the fireworks at All Spark Fireworks), a figment from the imaginations of the Harry Potter franchise, appearing in ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,’ ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ and the amusement theme park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.’
The exploding gadgets are introduced by future joke-shop owners, Fred and George Weasley who bought some at Gambol and Japes Wizarding Joke Shop.  Harry Potter later borrowed a firework from Fred and used it to blow up antagonist Gregory Goyle’s cauldron in Potions class.  This explosion created a much-needed distraction for Hermione Granger who was able to slip out of the classroom to retrieve an item essential for the wizarding trio’s mission.  Another time Dr. Filibuster’s Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks made an appearance was with Fred Weasley again. He had packed his trunk full of ‘essentials’ including these fireworks that accidentally went off during a car ride, startling a muggle taxi driver.  The last time these pyro pranks were seen was actually in real life at the grand opening of ‘The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’ in Florida. When the huge firework was set off, it appeared to be a dud (we think planned) and then unexpectedly sent up a huge shower of sparks up into the sky.
Too bad they’re not real fireworks, but wouldn’t you love to get your hands on some of these Dr. Filibuster’s Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks?  What would you do with them?
