Those in the know say that the best place to see the display is at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater, the West Shore Park or off some of the patio docks of nearby restaurants. The July 4th event at Inner Harbor is called “Ports America Fourth Forth of July Firework Show” and choreographed to patriotic music, lasting about 18 minutes and containing 18 shells. It’s a winner by all accounts!
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's annual July 4th concert and fireworks display at Oregon Ridge Park is another great firework show and popular summer concert. Performances include the "Star-Spangled Spectacular," Tchaikovsky's “1812 Overture,” Sousa's “Stars and Stripes Forever” and even more classics choreographed to an amazing fireworks display. It just wouldn’t be an all-American 4th of July without good old-fashioned festivals and fireworks shows.
